We direct the rain water that has been coming down on this Island for these last hours down the drain and into the sea. But it’s not only that.
The best of all of this is that the drains do not manage to keep up with all the accumulated rain water and a nice Purée ghala Maltija is the result – drenagg fil-bahar!

Andrew, well said. We pay millions of euro to produce drinking water and millions of euros to throw away what nature gives us for free!
I live just above Wied Hesri and it’s said to see so many gallons of water streaming into Qormi only to end up in the sea.
